"They've Come" is a concept album. Each track tells the next chapter of the story through title and soundscape.
A sentient race of synthetics have come to earth offering universal knowledge, power, and immortality. Seeing the destruction the human race has wrought upon ourselves and our planet, they aren't taking "no" for an answer.

-02 Comply: The primitive defenses of our race prove ineffective against the vast technological superiority of the synthetics.

-03 The War: A machine scans the landscape searching for the last of the human resistance. As it stumbles across a lone human it calls out to the other machines and moves in to chase him briefly through the landscape before being faced with a full battalion of the resistance. A great battle ensues.

-04 Organic Processing: The humans are led through a series of camps that the machines seem to be creating by manipulation of their own bodies. Surrounded by a host of synthetic sights and sounds, the landscape itself seems to be shifting into what appears to be a factory of some sort. Fear takes over as you are carried towards the opening of what you realize is a processing plant while half human screams emanate from inside.

-05 Assimilation: You are given a tranquilizer and you completely relax as a conveyor belt moves you towards the opening of the processor. An ominous feeling overtakes you as you calmly view the various devices preparing to greet you. A door closes behind you and for a moment there is silence save for the machines getting into position. You feel no pain as the machines tear and slice at your flesh replacing and adding synthetic components to your body. Beginning to feel more powerful by the minute you are suddenly left for a moment to enjoy your newfound strength, testing out your new voice for a moment before rising in a display of force never imagined in dreams.

-06 Evolutionary Crescendo: As all of the remaining humans are gathered and processed into more advanced versions of themselves, the human race grows exponentially in knowledge. A worldwide celebration of peace and togetherness ensues as we enjoy our new strengths.
